It has officially been one year since I ventured in to the blogosphere. Thank you to all of my readers — whether you’ve only stopped by to read one particular post or have read each and every one. Blogging has been so much fun for me and, if I am being honest, it has helped me organize my own thoughts and has kept me from getting bored (or watching too much TV) during the girls’ nap time. It may have also kept me from exercising during their nap time, but that is neither here nor there.
According to my analytics counter, my top-ten most popular posts from last year were:
(1) Newborn Essentials & Registry Must Haves
(2) Food Friday: Chrissy Teigen’s Baked Oatmeal
(3) What’s in My Hospital Bag
(4) Toddler Girl Swimsuit Edition & What’s in Our Pool Bag
(5) Upping Your Family’s Pajamas Game
(6) A Playroom to Grow in
(7) A Backyard Picnic Birthday Party
(8) Breastfeeding Essentials
(9) Our Sweet Little Nursery
(10) Herb Garden Scheming
As you can see, there isn’t much of a theme in my top posts which is kind of great because I’d say there isn’t much of a theme to my blog. Before I started blogging I thought “lifestyle blogger” deserved more than just a little eye roll — but how else do you describe a blog that covers everything from Breastfeeding Essentials to Toddler Swimsuits to Spelt Muffins to a weekend in South Beach?
So – I need y’alls help! What would y’all like to see more of? Recipes? Clothing? Interior inspiration? Would you like to see heavier topics or do you like that I’ve been keeping things light? I am constantly trying to find the line between keeping it real and over-sharing.
Thanks again for your readership. Get excited for new things to come in my second year of blogging! Topics on my list include updates on our Spring/Summer herb garden, our upcoming 10th anniversary trip to Napa and San Francisco, and some fabulous real food recipes I’ve been working on.
