Carter’s and OshKosh Finds for Girls – Spring/Summer 2018

Anyone still out there?  I know it has been a while since my last post.  I started this blog when I was pregnant with C and had a little more time on my hands since B was in school two days a week and I didn’t have kiddo numero dos.  Blogging has admittedly fallen to the bottom of my to-do list, but I am not ready to say I am done.

I am back to share with you some amazing Carter’s / OshKosh finds for your little girls because what better than adorable (and affordable) clothing for warm weather to get the blog back up and running?

I love dropping in to our local Carter’s/Osh-Kosh to see what treasures I can find.  I rarely purchase any of their items online because I have noticed that there can be a significant variance in quality.  Here are some Spring/Summer pieces I’ve scouted out in store that you can confidently order online.  I promise the quality, cut, feel, look, etc. will surpass your expectations.

I scooped up this suit for B.  It is even cuter in person and runs true to size.

I got these matching sister suits for B and C.  They had the same style last year in a pink and white gingham, and I was really impressed with the quality.

It runs a little small in my opinion, so I’d order one size up if your child is between sizes.

Like the style but not in to the floral print or want to double up?  You should consider this fabulous suit in this print.

And since B is obsessed with flamingos and basically lives in a swimsuit during the summer, I grabbed this one too.

I also scooped up some transition pieces that are bright and cheery.  I love love love this cardigan.  It is a sunny spot on a cold winter day and will also carry your little one well in to Spring.  It has a bit of a retro Lacoste vibe, don’t you think?  Unfortunately they don’t make it in B’s size, so I just got one for C.

This is just a fun shirt in a nice thick and soft cotton.  It’s the perfect piece to transition your kiddo in to Spring.  B has already worn it to school even though we’ve been having arctic temperatures.

I got this classic shirt for both girls and plan on having them wear it on the plane for Spring Break.  It is super chic with the blue and white stripe and is made from a nice soft fabric, but I won’t be sad if (and when) it gets covered in snacks.  And that little eyelet pocket and button detail on the shoulders . . .

Before you buy any of these, try searching for “Carter’s promo codes.”  You almost always can find one for 20% off with free shipping.  This one recently worked for me: OKBG3421.

Stay tuned for my favorite recipes from Laura Lee’s fabulous cookbook — The Laura Lea Balanced Cookbook.  Lately  we’ve been practically living off of the delicious items from this book.
